Man mugged in The Walk in Potters Bar
A man was mugged and threatened with a knife in the early hours of this morning.
Two men walking along The Walk in Potters Bar towards the High Street were approached by three others between 1.45am and 2am.
One of the two men was pushed to the ground and threatened with a knife.
The suspect demanded the man hand over his mobile phone, which he did.
The three men then set off down Darkes Lane.
The victim of the mugging has been left shaken but without serious injuries.
The mugger with the knife was described as a white man in his late teens, around 5ft 10ins tall and of regular build.
He was wearing a light grey hooded top with the hood up, light grey tracksuit bottoms and a white balaclava.
The other two offenders were described as white and wearing dark clothing.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Daniel Osborne said: “We are doing all that we can to find those responsible for this incident.
“I am appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the offence and saw it take place or saw anyone behaving suspiciously to please get in contact.
“I’d also like to hear from anyone who recognises the offender from the description given or if you know who may responsible for this crime.”
