Man fatally hit by train 'is from Potters Bar' says British Transport Police
A man killed when he was hit by a train at Potters Bar on Sunday is believed to live in the area.
He was struck by the 12.11pm First Capital Connect Service between Kings Cross and Welwyn Garden City shortly before 1.30pm.
British Transport Police today said the man is believed to be in his 50s and from Potters Bar.
Officers are still trying to contact his next of kin.
An inquest into the death, which is being treated as non-suspicious, is expected to be opened at the end of this week.
