Man accused of shooting mother-of-one Sabrina Moss appears at Old Bailey
A man has appeared in court charged with shooting a mother-of-one in the chest while she celebrated her 24th birthday.
Sabrina Moss, who grew up in Grahame Park, is said to have had “one of the best nights” partying with friends, dancing and enjoying herself just hours before the shooting in Kilburn High Road.
She and her friend Sabrina Gachette, 24, were among a group of people who were shot at in the street at 4.19am on Saturday, August 24.
The pair were rushed to hospital but Ms Moss was pronounced dead later that morning.
Her devastated family and friends paid tribute to the nursery worker who had recently moved from her home in Hendon to Neasden with her partner Arron and their son.
Arron said in a statement: "Sabrina was loved by everyone but for me and my son it was beyond love and words, she was our life. She was our world and now it’s empty and always will be for the rest of our lives.
"Sabrina and I went through so much together from a young age but we always used to tell each other no matter what happens we will build that perfect family for our son and for all her dreams to be taken away at such a young age kills me every day.
"Words can’t describe my pain and this pain is with me forever."
Ms Moss’s friends also wrote tributes sharing their loss and the love they had for her.
One friend known as Lisa M said: “Sabrina always loved her birthday but this year I can happily say she had one of the best nights. She looked stunning she was smiling the entire time and wouldn't move from the dance floor.
“The photos taken, the memory of her image, the memory of her laugh that night will live on forever we love and miss you Sabrina.”
Martell Ricco Warren, 22, of Station Road, Hillingdon, appeared in custody at the Old Bailey yesterday.
He has been charged with the murder of Sabrina Moss, the attempted murder of Sabrina Gachette, two further counts of attempted murder and two counts of possession of a firearm.
He was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on November 19 for a plea and case management hearing.
