EastEnders actor Shane Richie wins cash for Noah's Ark Children's Hospice in Barnet on That Puppet Game Show
EastEnders actor Shane Richie won £10,000 for a High Barnet children’s hospice when he competed on a BBC One game show.
The 49-year-old, who plays Alfie Moon in the soap, bagged the cash for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice on an episode of That Puppet Gameshow, televised on Saturday night.
Richie has been a Noah's Ark ambassador for the past two years and selected the hospice as his chosen charity.
Speaking after the show, he said: “Over the past couple of years I’ve been lucky enough to meet some of the kids and families supported by Noah’s Ark and I’m always struck by how positive they are, even in such extraordinary circumstances.
“It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of this charity and the work its staff and volunteers are doing for kids and families in London.”
