Two friends from Barnet trekked 45 miles taking in the sites of London to raise money for cancer charities.
Emily Nicolaou from Whetstone and Jessica White from Barnet walked from Barnet General via Buckingham Palace, the London Eye and Tate Modern before ending up at Finchley Memorial Hospital.
The 24-year-olds raised £1,300 which they are going to give to Myeloma UK and Cherry Lodge Cancer Care.
Miss Nicolaou, a recruitment consultant, said: “It was tough and emotionally and physically trying but it was definitely worth it in the end.
“It was such a great achievement for us and we were both extremely proud to finish it. There is no better feeling than raising money for a good cause.
“We really want to continue to do the charity walk every year and hopefully encourage other people to get involved as well.”
