Middlesex University to take part in Open House weekend
Middlesex University will throw open its doors to the public as part of the annual London-wide Open House weekend.
Free tours will be given around the university in The Burroughs, Hendon, as part of the event which showcases landmark and historic buildings across the capital.
For the first time in the university’s history all of the campuses have been brought on to one site including the Quadrangle, one of the largest covered spaces in London.
The Grove, an £80million purpose-built centre for creative courses featuring television and photography studios will also be open for viewing.
Event manager Shazia Mowlabaccus from Middlesex University said: "Open House is a great opportunity to have a look around buildings that you might have on your doorstep, but have never been inside.
“With the consolidation of the Middlesex campuses over the last few years to the Hendon site, local residents will have the chance to see the exciting developments that have taken place in their community.”
Tours will be led by University staff between 11am and 5pm on Sunday, September 22. To pre-book a tour, email: firstname.lastname@example.org
