Golfers raise £30,000 for Jewish Care's Rela Goldhill Lodge in Limes Avenue Golders Green
Golfers clubbed together to help raise £30,000 for a Jewish care home in Golders Green.
More than 70 people took part in Jewish Care’s fifth annual Pro Am golf competition at Dyrham Park to raise cash for Rela Goldhill Lodge in Limes Avenue.
Jeremy Curtis, chairman of the Pro Am committee said: “Fun was had and we raised a staggering £30,000 to support the fantastic work that Jewish Care do to support adults with physical disabilities who live at Rela Goldhill Lodge.
"It is a unique place and one we feel very proud to be connected with.”
Daniel Carmel-Brown, director of fundraising and marketing of Jewish Care, said: “People often associate Jewish Care with care for older people. Rela Goldhill Lodge is a shining example of the work we do to support younger people in our community.”
At the end of the event pro golfer Lloyd Kennedy joined Martin Lerner and brothers James and Julian Margolin to collect the winners trophies having completed the course in 85 points.
