Man killed by East Midlands Trains service at Hendon railway station was from west London
A man killed by a train at Hendon railway station yesterday was from west London, police have confirmed.
The 53-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene in Station road after he was struck by the East Midlands Trains service at 3pm.
The death is being not being treated as suspicious.
Officers from the British Transport Police released more details on the identity of the victim today and confirmed he was from Isleworth, in Hounslow.
His next of kin has been informed and an inquest is expected to be opened and adjourned in the next week.
