Donate unwanted clothes to British Heart Foundation, at Broadwalk Shopping Centre, Edgware
People can donate their unwanted clothes to help fight heart disease at an Edgware shopping centre.
Mayor of Barnet, Councillor Wendy Prentice, officially launched the British Heart Foundation's bagathon appeal at the Broadwalk Shopping Centre, in Edgware, on Thursday.
Cllr Prentice was the first person to donate a bag of items to this year’s campaign.
After the event in the shopping centre has ended, bags can still be donated to the local BHF shop.
Angela Brooks, centre manager at The Broadwalk Centre, said: “We’d like to encourage everyone in the Edgware community to join in Britain’s biggest bag filling event and help fund life-saving research into heart disease.
“Simply fill up one bag, or many, and help the BHF fight for every heartbeat.”
