East Barnet's Conservative councillors all standing for re-election
Three Conservative councillors in East Barnet are all standing for re-election in May.
Councillors Robert Rams, Barry Evangeli and Joanna Tambourides were all reselected by members of the Chipping Barnet Conservative Association on Saturday.
The trio will stand at the next local elections in May. Labour and the Liberal Democrats are yet to announce their candidates for the area.
Councillor Rams, the cabinet member overseeing the budget and in charge of the borough's libraries, said he was proud to be standing in the ward again.
He said: “I’m delighted and honoured to be reselected and I’m very much looking forward to the election.
“I think it has been a good term for the council. I have enjoyed every second representing East Barnet and I hope to do so for another four years.”
