Charities offered cash and support this Christmas from Waitrose in Whetstone
Charities supporting elderly, homeless and vulnerable people in Barnet could get a helping hand from a Whetstone supermarket.
Waitrose, in High Road, is looking for charities to apply for help as part of its Isolation Campaign as the festive season draws nearer.
The branch will provide, food, cash and voluntary hours from supermarket staff to successful organisations that apply in-store before November 15.
Waitrose community manager Tina Varns said: “This new Isolation Campaign will complement the great work our shops are already doing in their local communities through the green token scheme.
“We're excited about the difference it will make to so many people."
