Hertsmere 'happiest place to live', says ONS report
Hertsmere is the happiest borough in Hertfordshire, new statistics suggest.
The report, by the Office for National Statistics, shows residents living in the borough are the most satisfied in the country with their lives.
Council leader Morris Bright said: “This is great news. It has confirmed our previous findings and shows that we are justly proud of our borough.
“We know that Hertsmere is a good place to live and work but it’s always satisfying to have impressive evidence like this.
“It demonstrates that we need to carry on listening to our residents and shaping our services accordingly.”
The findings reflect an independent study last year, which showed nine out of ten people living in Hertsmere were satisfied with the area.
