A second man has been charged in connection with an incident in which shots were fired at police officers during a suspected kidnapping.
David Rhoden, 28, from Flowers Close, Neasden, has been charged with kidnap, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and attempted murder.
Police tried to stop a vehicle near junction four of the M1 at approximately 12pm on Saturday, November 16.
They chased the car into Broadhurst Avenue in Edgware, where two men got out.
Shots were fired at police officers but no one was injured.
A third man, who is believed to have been kidnapped, was found inside the vehicle. He was not injured.
Mr Rhoden has been remanded in custody before he is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on December 12.
Clayton McKenzie, 35, from High Street in Harlesden, has also been charged with kidnap and is due to appear at the same court for a preliminary hearing tomorrow.
