Students are helping to run a newly opened medical centre set up by Middlesex University in Colindale.
Consultations are taken by a student practitioner at The Park Clinic under the supervision of a qualified practitioner who is responsible for making the patients’ treatment plans.
The centre offers Ayurveda, including massage therapy, Western herbal medicine and traditional Chinese medicine including acupuncture, cupping and tuina massage therapy.
Consultations may also be observed by other student practitioners in a separate private room via a live video stream.
The clinic was officially launched by the chairman of the European Herbal and Traditional Medicine Practitioners Association, Michael McIntyre.
Free consultations will be given at The Park Clinic in Boulevard Drive, Beaufort Park, until January 31.
