Speed limits around schools and building plans for a village church will be among the items discussed at a residents' group's first meeting of the new year.
Members of East Barnet Residents' Association will be gathering in the hall at Brookside Methodist Church, off Brookside, at 7.30pm on Tuesday to discuss various local issues.
Discussion points will include proposals from Ashmore Academy for a new primary school in the village, and an update on plans to build on the site of St Mary’s Church, as well as the possibility of introducing lower speed limits around schools.
