The final member of a gang that carried out armed robberies across the capital was jailed today.
Russell Aljaf, 20, of Marsham Street, Westminster, was sentenced at Harrow Crown Court for his part in the gang that travelled around London in taxis committing armed robberies at hotels, and against minicab drivers and members of the public.
Among their targets was The King Solomon Hotel in Golders Green Road where they entered armed with a handgun in March.
Once inside they threatened the hotel staff and stole cash.
Aljaf changed his plea four days into his trial and admitted conspiracy to rob, burglary and possession of an imitation firearm.
He also pleaded guilty to being in possession of an imitation firearm for the purposes of crime, related to an offence in February 2013.
He was sentenced to five years in prison for possession of an imitation firearm, five years for conspiracy to possess an imitation firearm and two years for burglary, to run concurrently, and ten years in prison for conspiracy to rob.
