A supermarket has donated its huge Christmas decorations to two nearby primary schools.
St Giles’ Church of England and Cranborne Primary were both “delighted” with the post-seasonal donation from Sainsbury’s in Potters Bar.
Staff at the Darkes Lane store visited the schools on Friday to hand over decorations including snowmen, Christmas trees and model robins, all of which were displayed in the shop over Christmas.
