Prince Edward has paid tribute to a teenager who gives up his evenings to keep children off the streets.
Miles Bardon, a youth leader at the Jewish London Girls and Boys Brigade, based at Edgware United Synagogue, Parnell Close, was invited to the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
HRH the Earl of Wessex shook hands with the 18-year-old in front of the 800 other people at Kensington and Chelsea Town Hall.
He has earned his Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award and is also a volunteer for the National Citizen Service Programme.
