A power cut forced a Hendon primary school to close for the day this morning.
Parents were told not to take their children to Bell Lane Primary after the power cut left the school's heating systems out of action.
Engineers from UK Power Networks were sent to fix the outage, which affected parts of Hendon.
A council spokesman said the school should reopen tomorrow (Friday) as normal.
