Northern line services are due to be affected by a second 48-hour tube strike starting this evening, though all of Barnet’s railway stations should remain open.

Transport for London says it expects to run trains over the whole line, with services around every five minutes via both Bank and Charing Cross.

London Underground staff are due to walkout for a second round of industrial action in a row over modernisation proposals and planned job cuts.

The strike by the RMT and TSSA unions is due to begin at 9.30pm today and last until the end of services on Thursday.

Trains will run across the whole stretch of the Northern line during this period but will not stop at the following stations: Angel, Borough, Chalk Farm, Charing Cross, Clapham North, Clapham South, Colliers Wood, Embankment, Goodge Street, Leicester Square, Mornington Crescent, Oval, South Wimbledon, Tufnell Park and Warren Street.
