A woman has handed herself into police after an appeal for information about a family from Barnet who were racially abused on the London Underground.
The incident happened after a 31-year-old man from Barnet boarded the Northern Line at Tottenham Court Road with his wife and their young child.
When a passenger offered the woman his seat, another female passenger complained, making racially abusive comments towards the family.
Two men travelling with the woman then grabbed the victim by his shoulders and pushed him.
British Transport Police had released an image of a woman they wanted to speak to in connection with the incident.
She handed herself into a police station yesterday and will be questioned.
