Love was in the air for two councillors when they were treated to a special Valentine’s lunch prepared by a group of adults with learning disabilities.
Husband and wife political duo Andreas and Joanna Tambourides were invited to have a romantic three-course meal at Larches Community, an Edgware charity for people with disabilities.
Users of the charity have been taking part in weekly cookery classes run by chef and cookery book author Denise Phillips.
They were able to test their skills when the councillors dropped in for lunch this afternoon (Tuesday), just a few days before Valentine’s Day on February 14.
Anyone with a learning disability or autism can sign up to one free cookery class, which begin after half term on Tuesday, February 25. To book a place, call Ranu on 0208 905 6333.
