A jazz quartet serenaded shoppers with love songs in aid of a Barnet charity.
The Middlesex University music students performed outside Sainsbury’s in Hyde Estate Road, Hendon, collecting donations in aid of the store’s charity partner, Barnet Community Transport (BCT).
The musical group raised more than £150 for BCT, which provides minibuses to take vulnerable people in the borough on outings and shopping trips.
Richard Healy, CEO of BCT, said: "We are delighted at the contribution of these talented musicians in support of Barnet Community Transport. Our charity relies heavily on donations, so activities that support our work to transport elderly and vulnerable members of our community are always welcome."
