Free health checks
People are entitled to free health checks in West Hendon this Friday.
The Hendon Mosque and islamic Centre, in Brent View Road, will turn into a doctors surgery for the day.
Dr Azim and Partners GP practice and Barnet Borough Council’s public health team will be on hand.
Checks are available for people aged 40 to 74 and will include an assessment of heart disease risk, diabetes, kidney disease and stroke checks.
Tests take around 20 to 30 minutes.
