Barnet Borough Council to fly the flag for Commonwealth Day

Barnet Borough Council will fly the flag to mark Commonwealth Day this morning.

The authority will raise a Commonwealth flag above Hendon Town Hall, in The Burroughs, at 10am.

Before the flag is raised, Barnet’s Deputy Lieutenant Martin Russell, will read out a message from the Queen.

Commonwealth Day was created to promote understanding on global issues and international cooperation.
