Primary school pupils raised more than £100 during Fair Trade Fortnight as they learned about fairness and inequalities around the world.

Children from Rimon Jewish Primary, in Dunstan Road, Golders Green, sold homemade chocolate and banana muffins made with Fairtrade Ingredients, as well as clay bead necklaces, Purim cards and lavender bags to raise money for the Fairtrade Foundation.

They learned about the continent of Africa during the two weeks between February 24 and March 9, and took part in a mini-project focusing on the minimum wage for cocoa farmers in Ghana.
