Students got a chance to shape the future look of their school when they submitted models for a sculpture that will form part of a new expansion.
Year 8 students at The Compton School, in Summers Lane, North Finchley, spent six weeks working after school on their designs for the artwork.
On Thursday, the six final students presented their ideas to a panel of senior staff and sculptor Paul Margetts, who will choose the winner next week.
The winning student will work with Mr Margetts on the metal sculpture, which will be displayed near the entrance to the school.
