Dog owners can take their pets to a free microchipping event.

Barnet Police and the RSPCA have joined forces to offer the tracking devices to all dogs living in the borough.

From 2016, a law will make it necessary for all dogs to be microchipped.

A chipping session will be held on Sunday, March 23 from 10.30am to 3.30pm at Cillterhouse Playing Fields, in Claremont Road.
