Detectives are investigating the murder of a woman in Colindale.
A police car was flagged down at approximately 12.20pm on Sunday March 16, and alerted to a seriously injured woman at an address in Falcon Way.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the address, where the 55-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
She had suffered stab or slash injuries.
Next of kin have been informed, but police await formal identification.
A 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and has been taken to a London police station where he remains.
The victim’s Red Hyundai i20, with the registration RE62 AEA, has been stolen and remains missing. It is last known to have been in the Kingsbury area.
