A group of famous stand-up comedians will take part in a fundraising event to raise money for a school in East Finchley next month.

Mock the Week regular Milton Jones will head the line-up at the Phoenix Cinema in aid of secondary school, the Archer Academy on Monday May 12.

Critically acclaimed newcomer Romesh Ranganathan, who has also starred on Mock the Week, will also take part, as well as Pippa Evans, who plays stage character Loretta Maine, a guitar-wielding American songwriter.

The event will be compèred by local stand-up comedian and parent at the school Ian Stone, who was ranked by The Independent as one of the top ten stand-ups in Britain. 

As well as many television appearances, Mr Stone is a regular at The Comedy Store in London’s West End.
