A young mother from Hendon has been selected to compete for a place in the finals of a beauty pageant at Disneyland Paris.
Jessica Williams was shortlisted for the Face of the Globe regional heats to be held at Elstree Film Studios on August 24.
The 19-year-old is hoping to be one of five people in the 18s and over category to win a place in the final in Paris in October.
The pageant's organisers say contestants are judged on personality and looks, and the former actor is raising money for the Rainbow Foundation as part of her bid.
Jessica is now looking for sponsors to help with the costs of shoes, clothes and beauty products in return for advertising space on the Face of the Globe website.
