Seventy-one-year-old man dies following collision with motorbike in Potters Bar

A 71-year-old man has died after he was in collision with a motorcyclist in Potters Bar.

Police were called at 4.57pm to Mutton Lane, where the incident happened yesterday.

The 71-year-old pedestrian was taken by air ambulance to the Royal London Hospital with serious injuries, but has since died.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to Barnet hospital. He is in a stable condition.

No arrests have been made but police are appealing for witnesses.
