Children who spent the weekend in hospital were given a surprise visit from the Easter bunny.
Staff at The Broadwalk Centre in Edgware collected more than 250 eggs for children at Edgware Community Hospital.
Sainsburys, Marks & Spencer, WH Smiths and Poundland all donated eggs from their stores.
Centre manager Angela Brooks said: “I’m sure that the donated eggs will bring a big smile to the faces of all of the children at the hospital.
“Easter is quite an indulgent time of year, especially where chocolate is concerned, so it’s nice to give something to those who really need a little treat for being so brave.”
