Traffic dominated discussions at a hustings in Hampstead Garden Suburb last night.

Election candidates were invited to speak at the event, held by Hampstead Garden Suburb Residents Association at the Free Church Hall in Northway.

Labour candidates supported a 20mph speed limit, while Conservatives said they listened to the majority in specific locations.

Meanwhile UKIP candidates said they were in favour of 30-minutes' free parking in shopping streets, and the Liberal Democrats wanted more council tax valuation bands, plus a mansion tax.

Liberal Democrat MEP, Baroness Sarah Ludford, also attended the event, as well as Conservative MEP Marina Yannakoudakis.
