A baby charity is calling on little ones across Barnet to don their Wild West outfits and take part in a Western-themed fundraiser.

Baby charity Tommy's and Baby Sensory & Toddler Sense have teamed up to organise the Sensathon.

Families are invited to bring their children to Baby Sensory Barnet and Southgate, and Baby Sensory Potters Bar dressed as cowboys and cowgirls.

The day will start with a Western adventure song, story-telling and games before visitors are encouraged to take part in a sock puppet show and create a cowboy stew around the campfire.

Families will be asked to collect sponsorship for Tommy's charity, which will use the money to carry out research into pregnancy complications, helping save babies' lives.

Event organiser Lisa Robson of Baby Sensory Barnet said: "We're delighted to be part of the first ever Sensathon and promise mums, dads, and babies a play-time adventure they'll never forget.

"Everything we do is designed to stimulate the senses and give babies and toddlers fresh, fun experiences in an exciting environment that will keep them smiling all day long. Sensathon will double the fun by creating a special themed day for all the family while also raising money for a good cause."

Tommy's Sensathon will take place at Christ Church Hall in Barnet on Tuesday June 24, and at Furzefield Leisure Centre in Potters Bar on Thursday June 26.
