Boy 'serious but stable' after being hit by bus
An eight-year-boy who was hit by a bus is now in a serious but stable condition.
The boy was riding his bike along Chesterfield Road, Barnet, at 8.15pm on Tuesday evening when he was struck by a bus in the 184 route.
He was left fighting for his life but police now say he is in a stable condition.
The incident prompted neighbours to voice concerns over the safety of buses on the narrow street.
