Little legs sprang into action when toddlers used pedal power to raise money for a Jewish charity.

The children from Gad Yachad, in Hendon Lane, Finchley, raised £520 in a sponsored ride on their tricycles.

Out of the £520 raised, £470 will go towards Emunah and £50 towards Action Medical Aid.

Teacher Reva Ross teamed up with Emunah, which runs a network of children’s homes, high schools, day care, therapy and counselling centres across Israel.

Emunah director Deborah Nathan joined the group of staff and parents who cheered the toddlers on.

She said: “It was great to see the children having fun while helping others less fortunate - and we are grateful to Gan Yachad for their support.”
