The vital role of the Army, Navy and Air Force will be celebrated with a flag raising ceremony this weekend.
Barnet Borough Council will show its support for the troops as it marks Armed Forces Day on Sunday, June 29.
Army reservists, cadets and ex-servicemen and women will take part in a parade at Hendon Town Hall, in The Burroughs.
Barnet’s Deputy Lieutenant Martin Russell, as well as MPs and a range of councillors will also attend. It will kick off at 10am, with road closures and diversions in place from 9.30am.
People wishing to attend the ceremony should arrive by 9.45am.
