The sheer thought of walking over hot coals might be terrifying – but people are being urged to throw their fears to one side for charity.

Elm Court Youth and Community Centre, in Mutton Lane, Potters Bar, is calling on anyone aged 14 and over to take part in the challenge for Peace Hospice Care.

Those who take part will receive full training from experts and learn how to walk over glowing embers with confidence.

It will take place on Sunday, September 14. For more information, visit www.peacehospicecare.org.uk
