The postponed Colindale election will take place today as voters head to the polls to choose the area’s new councillors.

Although the rest of the borough cast their vote on May 23, the Colindale vote was delayed following the death of Green Party Candidate Jessica Yorke.

Conservatives won the previous election by two seats, and assuming Labour retains its three Colindale seats, the party will have a total of 30 councillors.

However, Labour leader Alison Moore previously told the Times Series the group was not "taking the seats for granted".

Polls open at 7am and shut at 10pm.
