A pony trotted into a nursery school to meet children as a special end of term treat.
Pupils at St John’s Nursery School, in Chase Avenue, Potters Bar, were delighted by Perry, the Shetland miniature pony who came to visit them at school.
The children were given the chance to pet or ride him in the school’s playing fields.
Alyson Gnessen, who runs the playgroup, said: “It was amazing – we’ve never had something like that before and the children absolutely loved it.”
