A ten-year-old boy was inspired to write a poem after learning about how people in poverty have no access to clean water.
Uriel Sasieni, a Year Five pupil at Nancy Reuben Primary School, in Hendon, won an international poetry competition run by Water Aid.
He beat 2,094 pupils across the country to be crowned the winner of the contest with his poem, If I had Clean Water.
It will now feature in an exhibition at the London Museum of Water and Steam.
The schoolboy said: "I was inspired to write my poem after realising how lucky I am compared to children in other countries, who have to walk a very long way to get water that is barely clean."
As a prize, Uriel and his classmates will receive a poetry workshop with UK Green Poet and composer Martin Kiszko, who launched the contest with WaterAid.
