Police raided four homes as part of a drug operation.

Two homes on the Oakmere estate in Potters Bar, along with one in Shenley and one in St Albans, were searched as part of a operation by the Potters Bar Safer Neighbourhood team.

Cannabis was seized by police from one property in Potters Bar, while both cannabis and money were seized from the house in St Albans.

PC Jon Singleton from the Safer Neighbourhood Team was involved in the operation and said: “I hope this positive action sends a clear message to anyone involved in drug crime and associated anti-social behaviour that we will carry out operations to target you.

“I also hope these warrants show residents that we do listen to their concerns and will take action against those, who are in the minority, who deal in drugs and make other’s lives a misery.”

No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
