An air ambulance service is set to receive £1,000.
Herts Air Ambulance will receive the money from the locality budget of Potters Bar East Councillor Peter Knell.
Since it was launched in November 2008, the air ambulance has flown on more than 2,000 missions, providing a rapid response to life-threatening situations.
Cllr Knell said: “The air ambulance is a vital part of our everyday service to save lives and reach places quickly where a road ambulance would find it difficult.”
