A man is recovering in hospital after being hit by a van.
The man, in his 60s, was hit in Hendon Way, near the junction with Queens Road around 10.30am on Friday.
He was taken to a central London hospital where he is recovering from his injuries.
The driver of the van stopped at the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information.
Detective Sergeant Steve Pidgeon, of the Met’s serious collision investigation unit, said: “This collision occurred close to a really busy junction and there must have been a lot of people around at the time. I would urge anybody who saw what happened to contact us so that we can find out exactly what happened.”
