NHS teleohone services back up and running in Hertsmere
The NHS Direct service is back up and running across Hertsmere.
Hertsmere residents with an 0208 phone number, including those in Borehamwood and Potters Bar, have been experiencing problems accessing the Hertfordshire NHS 111 telephone service.
After changes in the telephony system, the issue has now been solved and those needing medical advice are now able to use the service.
The change also means that these residents can dial 111 to access the Hertfordshire GP out of hours service too.
