A programme that kept children entertained during the summer holidays has come to an end.

The Broadwalk Centre’s Marvellous Mondays ran for four weeks.

Circus skills, puppet shows and art classes were among the free activities children took part in during the programme, which ran every Monday at the shopping centre in Edgware. It was designed to help ease the pressure off parents during the school holidays.

Centre manager of The Broadwalk Centre, Angela Brooks, said: "We were thrilled by the turn out over the last four weeks. Both parents and children thoroughly enjoyed all the activities that we had on offer."
