A beloved dairy cow has been taken ill at a children’s farm.
Treacle, who lives at Belmont Farm, in The Ridgeway, Mill Hill, was diagnosed with an infection of the milk ducts on Friday and was quickly taken into surgery.
She is now recovering and the farm manager predict it will take her several weeks to recover.
Eve Marie-Stefanicki, who works at the farm, said: “We are trying to keep her moving so she is getting some exercise but she is being quote stubborn.
“The Young Farmers Club are all very upset with the news and we are doing our best to keep the community informed about her condition.”
