Students’ true colours will shine through when they hold an art exhibition.

Fine art MA students from Middlesex University, in The Burroughs, Hendon, are inviting people to see their creative talents.

Primary Colours, which opens on Thursday, September 11, will showcase work from Tess Perterson, Sine Icli and Halgurd Baram.

Roddy Hunter, associate professor in fine art at Middlesex, explained the concept behind the event. He said: “The artists chose the name Primary Colours because it reflects the very distinct identities of their three bodies of work, and the wide variety of artistic approaches used.

“As a metaphor, this can also be applied to the diversity of Middlesex’s MA fine art student body, coming as they do from very different personal backgrounds and traditions of practice.”

The show will be on at the Grove Building, The Burroughs, Hendon. It previews on Thursday September 11 from 6pm to 9pm, and then runs from Friday, September 12 to Monday September 15, from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

There will also be a last chance to see the show and meet the artists at a closing event on Wednesday, September 17, from 4pm onwards.
