Somalis will be given free advice on how to join the police force at a special event.
Barnet Police is holding the event in the Eversfield Centre, in Eversfield Gardens, Mill Hill, to give the Somali community the chance to meet police officers.
Detectives will discuss recruitment, khat, terrorism and genital mutilation and other subjects.
Event organiser PC Shirvin Zeinalzadeh said: “This will be a wonderful opportunity for the Somali community and Metropolitan Police to get together and discuss topical issues.”
It will be held on September 10 from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.
